The Scripture tells us to:
Cast all our cares upon him! (1 Peter 5,7)
To be in a state of worry is to walk around acknowledging the circumstance causing your worry to be greater than him we worship as Lord! That is a form of idolatry.
Most of us do worry – and worry too much!
That there is a clear command to us in Scripture not to worry (e.g. Mt. 6,25-34, Phil. 4,6) needs to encourage us to believe that it can be overcome!
When we worry, we are not in faith!
So our worry actually hinders what God would do for us in our lives – the help, the deliverance, the wisdom he would bring; the voice of the Spirit speaking to us!
This is the message God brought to my heart this morning – and I share it with you.
Let’s be in faith today!
It honours him that we believe that he is able to be our God, to be our Saviour and deliverer!
That he is able to undertake in our lives!
When you do worry the best thing you can do is tell him about it – tell him what’s causing you fear and anxiety. Confess it to him. Say your sorry!
Then give him thanks!
You will see that it is the way out!
Be blessed!😊👍
